About our Vets

Hello, my name is Linda and I'm the Clinical Director of Celyn Vet Group. I graduated in 2000 from the Royal Veterinary College, London. I am a North Walian born and bred and have worked in North Wales since I qualified. I have an interest in Small Animal Medicine and have a postgraduate certificate in the subject. I am also a RCVS recognised Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine.

During my spare time I like to enjoy the great outdoors we have on our doorstep. I also have an unhealthy (although I would say it's healthy) obsession with Harry Potter. I combine my time between working as a veterinary surgeon and a manager and I would be the person you would contact if you had a query about anything clinical (i.e. any questions you may have about your pets treatment or the clinical team).

Hello my name is John, I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1981 and recently joined Celyn Vet Group at the Prestatyn branch with occasional appearances at Abergele and Holywell. I enjoy all kinds of surgery particularly orthopaedic. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, growing vegetables and showing my pedigree Zwartbles sheep.

Hello my name is Steve. I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1995.  I have worked with Celyn on and off for many years and currently work between the Holywell and Prestatyn sites. I enjoy amateur dramatics in my spare time as well as spending time with my family.

Hello my name is Kelly and I'm the veterinary surgeon at the Prestatyn branch of Celyn Vet Group. I have a Rottweiler called Gus, a cross breed called Abby and a ginger cat called Finn. I'm originally from South Africa and have a special interest in ultrasonography.

Hi my name is Kappie. I'm a veterinary surgeon at the Abergele branch. I'm also originally from South Africa. Together with my partner Kelly (above) we have a ginger cat called Finn. I enjoy football and hiking. I have a special interest in surgery.

Hello my name is Claire, I am one of the veterinary surgeons in the friendly team at our Abergele & Deganwy surgeries.  I qualified from Liverpool University in 2004. I have a special interest in feline medicine, and have a postgraduate certificate in feline medicine. I am here to help with any problems with your feline friends. In my spare time I have a busy time with my family, our 2 crazy Jack Russell Terriers and our two adorable cats.

Hello my name is Kath Brierley, and I am one of the veterinary surgeons in the terrific team based at the Abergele and Deganwy branches of Celyn Vet Group. This summer sees the 20th anniversary of my graduation as a Vet from Liverpool University, and I can safely say that no two working days have been the same! My particular areas of interest include our older 'best friends' endeavouring to ensure that they enjoy the best possible health and activity into their golden years.

Hello my name is Laura and I am a veterinary surgeon who qualified in 2008. I have previously worked at our Abergele site but I have recently had some time off to have my third child and on my return I will be working at our Holywell surgery from September 2017.

Hello my name is Jennie, I have just qualified at Nottingham University and will be working with Laura and Linda at Holywell.
