Hello my name is Maz. My working life has included working with horses in Germany, a selection of veterinary practices across the UK and in Africa and most recently working as a lecturer and Head of Section at some of the country’s leading land based colleges but it’s great to be back in practice working with such a wonderful team at Celyn. And I am loving living in beautiful North Wales.
I am the Practice Manager for Celyn Vet Group. However I am also a Registered Veterinary Nurse and my role as manager is to support the team so they are able to provide you with the outstanding service that you should and can expect from Celyn Vet Group.
Hello my name is Vykki. I’m a Registered Veterinary Nurse who works at Holywell and qualified in 2013. I love all aspects of my role including consulting, client communication, anaesthesia and surgery and most importantly looking after your family member and pet. As well as my work I have a 6 year old pug called Neville, I'm also happily married and mum to a troublesome 2 year old boy who keeps us both on our toes.
Hello my names is Amy. I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse at the Prestatyn branch and I graduated from Myerscough College in June 2016. I have an interest in anaesthesia and surgery. I have a typical naughty tortoiseshell cat called Nala. I enjoy travelling; seeing new places and meeting new people.
Hello my name is Jenny, I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Celyn's Abergele branch. I qualified last year (2016) after completing my training at Myerscough-Chester Gates. Outside of work I enjoy training and walking my dog Jackson.
Hello my name is Clare, I am a Veterinary Nursing Assistant and I work at our Abergele surgery. I love spending time with our livestock as well as my busy family but when at work I love helping our clients to ensure that their pets are given all the support they need.
Hello my name is Michelle, but most people know me as Shell. I'm the Student Veterinary Nurse at our Holywell branch where I've been working for 4 1/2 years. I am now studying at Myerscough College to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I have three Chihuahuas and love spending time with them outside of work.
Hello my name is Emily. I am the Student Veterinary Nurse in our Prestatyn branch. With having a Whippet at home I'm a little bit Sighthound mad and love to have a cuddle with them when they come in! My main interests lie in Parasite Prevention, Diagnostic Testing and anything Rabbit or Wildlife related.
Hello my name is Jo. I'm the practice Administrator for Celyn and cover all four of our branches. I started with Celyn in Sept 2016 and although working in a veterinary practice is very different to what I am used to I can honestly say I love my job. My daily role is administration but I often get the chance to sneak downstairs and have cuddles with all your lovely furry family members. Outside of work I have a busy social life keeping up with my three boys who certainly keep me on my toes. I also like walking, reading and spending time with my friends and family. My main objective within Celyn is Customer Relations and making sure both clients and patients are happy. Together with Maz I also help support the rest of the team at Celyn.
Hello my name is Zoe, I have been an Animal Auxiliary for Celyn Vet Group for over 3 years. I have a Shih Tzu cross called Seran and a ginger tom cat called Leo who are the best of friends. I have recently completed my Dog Grooming Certificate at Llysfasi College. I will be offering my grooming services at our Prestatyn branch surgery in the near future which I am very much looking forward to.
Hello my name is Lauren, I am an Animal Auxiliary at Celyn Vet Group. I have 2 springer spaniels called Kim and Charlie, in my spare time I love taking long walks and doing agility with my dogs.
Hello my name is Bethan, I work as an Animal Auxiliary at our Holywell surgery. I have just had some time off to have my first baby and am loving being a new mum, but also looking forward to coming back to work at Celyn.
Hello my name is also Beth and I work at Holywell as an Animal Auxiliary. I am and have always been huge animal lover but I especially love birds. I love working at Celyn Veterinary Group because of the lovely clients and my work colleagues who make work not feel like work.
